Dr. Mitchell is an experienced contact lens doctor and participates in a number of contact lens research studies. We are providers for major vision insurance companies like Vision Service Plan (VSP) and EyeMed. We are also providers for medical insurance to cover medically-related eye care like Medicare, St. Mary's, Blue Cross, and Blue Shield.

Dr. Mitchell has a special interest in contact lens fitting in patients having trouble after LASIK, PRK, cataract and other eye surgeries and in patients with corneal distortion or irregular astigmatism in conditions like keratoconus. Dr. Mitchell Presenting Paper at National Meeting

Dr. Mitchell's scientific paper, "Correcting Irregular Astigmatism with Multifocal Soft Contact Lenses" has been accepted for presentation at the American Academy of Optometry meeting this November. He will be discussing this topic with other doctors from across the world and hopes to get more insight so that he can help patients with difficult to address vision problems.
